Children's Work

TREASURE SEEKERS held on Sunday starts at 12pm for an hour. Children can learn Bible stories, earn points toward prizes and enjoy singing and quizzes. We can cater for most age groups with individual classes suited to the ability of the children.

TRANSFORMERS is held on a Tuesday evening at 6.15pm for 45 minutes. Click the logo below for more information.

MUMS ‘N' TOTS runs on Wednesdays between 9:30 am and 11am during school terms. The hall is usually open from about 9am for those who find it more convenient to come earlier. The children are given a drink and a snack just after 10am and mums can also have a cup of tea or coffee.

It is open to all – mums, dads, grandparents and other carers are welcome too!

There is a dedicated area for babies to play and an area set aside for sit and ride toys. A wide variety of toys and activities to interest most children is provided. We don’t make a charge except for special events such as the Christmas party and summer outing. Ten minutes before the end we sing songs and action rhymes.

There is a wide access to the building with no steps and plenty of space for buggies and prams.

CSALT stands for Christian School Assembly Link Team. Our team provides a service in supporting schools in Northamptonshire by taking assemblies and RE lessons. The majority of the 30 or so schools currently supported are Primary Schools and these include both community schools and those with church (both Church of England and Catholic Church) associations.

If desired the assembly subjects can tie in with themes set by the school or be left to the team to decide. In every case the subject will be a Bible, or Bible based story and will not promote any particular denominational doctrine. Topics covered in RE Lessons are set by the school.

The team also assist in organising and running a biannual “Bible Exhibition” at the Gospel Hall which has proved very popular with schools. In the school context the exhibition is targeted at Key Stage 2 pupils and the schools visit programme is usually fully subscribed. The next event is planned for March 2009.

If you would like further details on any of the above please do not hesitate to contact us.
